For centuries, eggs have symbolized renewal, life, good luck, eternity and rebirth. Our Goose Egg Nativity is handmade in Portland, Oregon, USA using a Ukrainian technique. Inspired by traditional folk art of Eastern and Central Europe, artist Daniela Sipkova-Mahoney uses eggshells as her canvas. Each egg is painted, hand-engraved, signed and dated by the artist.
