One of our new favorite nativity sets here at YonderStar! The figures in this nativity scene are handmade in Uganda from wire and Mutuba bark cloth, a traditional Ugandan fabric made from tree bark. Making barkcloth is an ancient Ugandan tradition, and the cloth is known as olubugo in Uganda.
This unique nativity set from Uganda is Fair Trade and measures 2.5 inches tall. Included in the nativity set are the holy family, three wisemen, two shepherds, and an Ankole cow, native to Uganda and knows from its large horns and beautiful coats.
