Wife Loves It
Each year my children and I give my wife one to three nativities. This year we included the Spiral Countdown advent calendar but gave it to her for her birthday (Oct. 8th) because having it boxed until Christmas Day seemed dumb. She absolutely loves the atypical design and the compact shape. The figurines are well crafted and actually look like little people. Just one complaint: Joseph became detached from his pedestal during shipping so we have to repair him.

Nativity Advent Spiral
I collect small nativities from all over the world. I also give my girls an advent calendar every year. Since they are both over 40 this seemed like the obvious choice. It is tiny and well made. I do wish it was a tad more colorful, because Jesus’s birth was humble the brightest light in the world shone down and it was colorful. I would pick this again for the die hard advent calendar friend but it didn’t stir the emotion in me that some of the others have.
