Starting today, we'll discuss some of our favorite heirloom nativity sets that can be bought a few pieces at a time and added to year after year after year.

The Hestia Nativity Collection is made in the USA and, in 2000 when we began YonderStar, was the very first nativity scene we received in stock so it will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

The Hestia nativity pieces are truly artisanal. Each piece is made from bonded marble and hand-dressed in fabrics that are then shaped and stiffened.

Each year, a new nativity figure or two are added, and a piece or two are retired.

What makes the Hestia Nativity Set an heirloom? The craftsmanship is lovely. The pieces each have character and the color palettes used are warm and rich. Each figure is a good size - just about 7 inches tall for the standing figures.
