The Fontanini Nativity story of Bethany: Bethany's favorite time of year was the harvest season, and this year seemed very special. The harvest was bountiful, as if the earth was preparing for the arrival of a great king, as predicted by the Prophets. The grapes in the vineyards was lush and plentiful, and Bethany and her family worked hard at the harvest - picking the grapes, drying the raisins, and making wonderful flavorful wines. That certain year, Bethany commissioned the village potter to make a special urn for some of the season's best wine. Her heart told her that perhaps the wine, in its beautiful urn, might make a gift for someone special - though she knew not yet just who.
