The Fontanini Nativity story of Darah & Grace: Grace and her mother Darah were constant companions while her father and brother tended sheep in the fields outside of town. They shared each day's chores, then prepared the meal the family would share together when the men returned home. One day, the men returned home excited about a story other shepherds had told them - that an angel had appeared through the night and announced the birth of the Messiah. Darah and Grace had heard the very same story that day from women gathered at the town well. Grace suggested that the family welcome the new born baby with gifts. The family walked to the stable, and quietly placed their humble gifts at the manger. They knew in their hearts that the story was true - they had given their gifts to the new Messiah.
