Description
There are so many pieces to this nativity scene from Armenia. Mary, Joseph, the infant Jesus in the manger, angel, three wisemen, three camels, an ox, a donkey and sheep are all beautifully crocheted from vibrantly colored cotton yarn. The nativity stable, palm tree and grass are all made from interlocking wooden pieces. Joseph stands about 3.5 inches tall. Wooden stable measures 8 inches tall.
The nativity stable and other wooden elements are made in Armenia by students attending the Koghb Art School. The crocheted nativity figures are made by women living in Kapan, Armenia.
