Description
Brightly colored poinsettia nativity scene is handmade by Rosa Inez of Calderon, Ecuador, her family, and a team of local women from her community. Masapán is a traditional craft of Ecuador creating bread sculptures from a dough using maize. This Ecuadorian nativity scene features Masapán figures with a poinsettia backdrop. Freestanding or can also be hung as an ornament. Nativity scene is hand made in Ecuador and fair trade imported.
Nativity scene measures approximately 2 inches wide and 2 inches tall, however some variation is common as the nativity is handmade.
This Nativity scene was acquired through a Fair Trade organization. Fair Trade pays artisans a fair price for their work. Fair Trade puts people first, not profits.
