Description
Pewter has a long history in Ireland, going back over 800 years, and the quality and workmanship is evident in this wonderful Nativity from Mullingar Pewter, hand-crafted in Ireland. Each piece is made in the traditional way in Mullingar's own workshop by Irish men and women specially trained in the old casting methods, meticulous assembly, and delicate hand-finishing, in designs inspired by Celtic art and history.
Set consists of nine 2 1/2" figures and stable with angel, free-standing on a 9'" X 6 3/4" finished wooden base (base has felted bottom).
Pewter is easy to store, never wears out, and provides a splendid display, making this Nativity a holiday tradition to be handed down through the years.
