The Fontanini Nativity Story of Thaddeus: Thaddeus tended the inn in Bethlehem as his father had before him, with a love for the many travelers who passed through and the desire to treat each as a special guest. When a young man with his pregnant wife sought shelter, the inn was filled, but Thaddeus offered them accommodations in the inn's stable, not a fine room, but safe and warm. When Thaddeus and his wife awoke the next morning to a baby's cry, they ran to the stable. There they saw their most special guests - Mary, Joseph, and the new-born Baby Jesus.
