Mahalo is an express of gratitude, or simply how you say thank you in Hawaii. This Hawaiian nativity scene is inspired by the blessings of Christmas as interpreted in Hawaiian culture.
The infant Jesus rests on a surfboard with a ukulele nearby. Mary and Joseph are in traditional Hawaiian attire and 2 sea turtles visit the holy family.
Hawaiian nativity set is made from ceramic and measures about 3 inches tall. Handmade and painted in Peru and imported through fair trade which pays artisans a fair price for their work.
